Hey I am Lawrie

I have been into photography for many years, starting back in the day with film (35mm), I did some analogue photography in college, I bought my first compact digital camera in 2001, in 2007 I upgraded to a bridge camera, then a Nikon D50 DSLR. In 2011 I bought a prosumer Nikon D800, after getting married I sold all the gear and went down the Mirrorless route starting with M43, fast forward November 2024 I shoot with a Nikon ZFC and also a Sony A7 MK2, also my <249g drone the new DJI Mavic Mini 3, plus a lot of my photos and video content for youtube is recorded on my android smartphone.

Im separated, long story - life's too short!

West Cornwall - My hometown, I went down there in August for a few days, it was so nice to catch up with the family, Uncle Nigel was home from Canada and it was great to finally catch up with him as well as my cousin, plus some older friends back from when I used to live down there.

We stayed at The Union Hotel which in itself was an experience in life that I will never forge in a hurryt.

The Town has not changed much since leaving in 2010.

Remembering Dad

Bless him, he used to walk down to Pendeen Lighthouse when we lived there, he was always a fit man and never really aged, we miss him dearly and he will always be in my thoughts and prayers. As a Son I could have not asked for a better Dad.

I hope I grow older and become wise as he was. Till we meet again, I love you Dad. x
