I learned that Saltash’s oldest house is down there and had the chance to visit it over the summer with Bob, who knows the owner.

Parking is extremely limited here, and there are no facilities—no public toilets, pubs, or local shops. The nearest shop is back in Saltash itself. If you plan to explore on foot, it’s a good idea to come prepared and plan ahead.
